Yay! So exciting!    I love Maine.

I went to high school in Maine, and my family mostly all lives there. It's been a long time since I've lived there, but I'd be happy to try to answer any questions you might have. Are you moving to the Portland area? If so, you won't get as much snow as you would if you lived inland. We lived less than a mile from the coast, and the entire time I was in high school, they only closed our school 3 times for snow days. But, like I said, if you drive even half an hour inland, you get a lot more snow.

I hope that get everything sorted out in 2weeks. You must be having a slight panic attack over that but it sounds like everything is going to work out fantastically. Why wouldn't turn down an extra $11,000?

I've been sick to my stomach since I said yes...

I bought a car today, yay. So, I 'll have a safe trip. My car was horrible, it' was 18 years old.

good luck moving, I once had a pen pal from Maine and he sent me this calendar that showed the beautiful natural scenery and older rural parts and villages, it looked really really nice. probably one of the prettiest states as much as I can tell from afar
