I'm the thread killer
It seems that whenever I post a thread it automatically goes dead. I don't know what that says about my standing on the forum but it's a bummer.

Re: I'm the thread killer
Darling, why would you think this?
I have periods when the same happens (& I suspect others would say the same), but I don't think it's so much something personal as that people don't post as much as they used to. I certainly don't.
By the time I come back to a thread I've posted on, time has passed & it has moved on without me, leaving me with nothing worth contributing.
I joined because JO-land was a primarily a foodie site, now it is mostly a chat-site with very few chefs or empassioned cooks posting. There isn't so much for me to join in with now. Perhaps others would disagree, but it makes a difference to me.

Kou, that is no good!
But I am sure it happens to me just as often!
They are ephemeral things, most of these threads.... but I will look out for your posts and add something! ![]()

HEY! You trying to elbow in on my territory?
I'm the self proclaimed thread killer around here
Unfortunatly my "mamba jamba" doesn't seem to be working in the "pink slime" thread though ![]()

Re: I'm the thread killer
Phewww !
And I thought it was me that was the thread killer !!!'
I am delighted that someone else has now taken the title !
I think it happens to all of us , it's just that once you start to notice it , you simply notice it more and more .
I resolved not to get sensitive about my amazing skill as a thread ages ago .

I'll risk it. I no longer mind being the last or the thread killer. That's my job, I'm proud of it. Go on, laugh, someone has to do the hard jobs.
