I am in the construction business and have little to do with cooking. I am known as the nutty professor as I am always experimenting with just about anything.
So one day I decided to experiment with a "secret recipe" which I realised didn't come from Mars or out of space.
I live in Africa and and the main diet of the African people is Maizemeal, which is readilly available everywhere.
I soon realised that it was the maizemeal which was the main ingredient in the "world famous chicken".
The problem was that maizemeal when fried is hard and brittle.However, if the meal could be softened and then deepfried, a whole new world of flavour would unravel.......and it did !
