So as I relax on a nice sofa watching a bit of Sky TV back at home, what I'm really doing is eagerly awaiting my orders to arrive. So I was just saying in my last post that I made a couple of amazon orders and what do you know, one of them is new pans. I've said enough about how minimal our kitchen was, but all we were resorting to was what was already lying in the cupboards. One heavily scratched pan, with the plastic handle slowly burning off (the smell of burning plastic whilst cooking is not good for your health I hear). Really, I needed a bigger pan, but since I knew I was going home soon, I thought i'd take advantage and order something cheaper and better, rather than just go out to a German cookery shop and buy a random pan.

Nothing too fancy as you can see. I literally typed "pan" into amazon and this was the first thing that came up. Dispatched yesterday, so hopefully it'll come any time soon. Finally I can have a pan big enough where I don't have to worry about burning the handles, let alone having to wear a glove whilst just holding the thing. Man, I miss electric hobs.
