It's getting so cold! Things are needing that wee bit of protection but they're doing just fine under there. Picked some parsnips recently - OMG so good!!!

Great collection of plots Carrie G...am hoping to do something with my yard next year...saw another blogger grow potatoes inside two stacked tyres!

Carrick is indeed 'just up the road' as you say. I've lived here all my life and probably won't ever leave - though I'd love to. In saying that, I did lose the lottie and that would be wick! Diffenately do grow something in your yard, so many crops can be grown in pots etc if you don't have room for a big bed. Potatoes are a great idea, there's also carrots in old barrels or drums and lettuces in pots, what about a wigwam of beans - so many options! Good luck.
